New Web Site Checklist

When you hire a professional to re-design or design your web site and build it make sure they provide you with a standard document that includes the following:

1) Colors
2) The names of the font(s) used
3) The programming language (php,asp,.net,etc...)
4) The type of database (mssql,mysql,etc...)
5) Special file permissions
6) If you are using ecommerce (shopping cart) what type did they use?

They should also provide a CD, DVD or usb drive with ALL of the files you paid for. Images, Logo, PSD of the design (layered file), template files, flash source files, uncompiled programming files, etc...

This is all necessary

A) To have someone work on your site later
B) To move your site
C) You paid for it!
